Snow Fort

Kyle and his friends made this snow fort this week. We have had so much snow all week. It is really pretty cool. You can actually walk in and stand up inside. It has withstood all kinds of wind, rain and more snow. It hasn't caved in yet so we thought we better get a picture before it does. If he doesn't behave, he now will have a place to sleep or stay.

Christmas 2009

For Christmas this year, we wanted to simplify and try to make things easier, so we actually tried a new tradition. With two teenagers and one 18 year old adult, it can get pretty expensive. We did the three gifts, so it would be more meaningful and easier shopping. This is what they ended up getting:

GOLD-Something to Cherish:
Krystal got the new worldwide cookbook
Kim got a jewelery box
Kyle got a CD boombox
FRANKINCENSE-Something to amuse:
Krystal got a friendship bracelet craft kit
Kim got a Bead and ceramic craft kit
Kyle got a birdhouse, racecar craft kit
MRYHH-Something to Use:
Krystal got a new Coat
Kim got High School Musical bed sheets
Kyle got a new Coat

Krystals new haircut

Krystal got her haircut today! She wanted to try something new so we had it cut in a A-line cut. The first picture shows more of the shape. I just hope she can figure out how to style it now. Her hair is so thick, at least it won't be so heavy. This is her birthday haircut.
also on her way home from Snow, her ride rear ended another car. The car was totalled but the girls were fine. Krystal just bruised her left eye and her nose.

Kyle "Smiley" Cazier

This was Kyles last season of Little League Football. He played Wide Reciever the last two years and did very well. I also watched him in practice when he was on defense and he is one mean tackler. He can really take someone out when he wants to. Anyway they had a good season even if they did not make the tournament. They had 4 wins and 3 losses. They did not make the tournament by one win so I consider that a very good season. I hope Kyle continues to like football and trys out for 9th grade next year and shows the coaches just what he can do. There moto this year was Start Fast, Sustain and Finish Strong. I think they still finished Strong. Way to go Smiley.
Kyle got this nickname his first year in Football. When they were taking pictures the boys were suppose to look mean and Kyle went up there with a big smile on his face. so the Coaches nicknamed him smiley. Since then all of his friends in school has learned of this nickname and whenever they see him you can hear them say Hi Smiley.

Halloween Pumpkins

After we dug carrots, we came home and Kim was in the mood to paint, so the kids made these painted Halloween cans. They were fun and easy for the kids to do. Krystal did three for her roommates. I hope they liked them. We also filled them with treats.
