TOP TEN THINGS ABOUT KYLE

TOP TEN THINGS ABOUT KYLE
1. He is always happy! This year in football he adopted the nickname SMILEY KYLIE!
2. He is a hard worker. Who else would go shovel five driveways on their birthday.
3. He loves to tease his dad and Rudy.
4. He loves doing scouts and is doing a super job. He is now a Star Rank.
5. He loves to stay busy. He learned this from grandpa Haddock. When he was little he would follow him around the garden all day long.
6. He takes after Grandpa in that he has no brothers, just sisters and endures it well.
7. He has learned to play football, baseball, basketball, and soccer. This is listed is order of best to least.
8. He loves the computer and video games.
9. He is still patiently waiting for a playstation, X box, or a WII. Thank goodness the neighbors will share theirs.
10. He is growing a lot spiritually this year as a Deacon, He is still a little shy but is coming out of his shell more and more.
Kyle spent the day in school, Kyle wanted a Skateboard cake so had to get creative and attempt to make one. Thanks to Family Fun I was able to figure it out. I guess it turned out pretty good. The weather has been very, very snowy today. Kyle got clothes and stuff to go to the klondyke this weekend, and a air Hockey game. Sorry no WII yet.

Tag Photo

I am not very good at this but I guess this is the 4th picture of the 4th folder. This is Kyle last year 2008 at the 6th grade worlds fair. It is a big thing the school does. Kyle did his report on Peru since his coisen Holden was there on a mission. That is where he got his cute hat. We also borrowed some things from Grandpa that he got from Brian Haddock when he went on his mission. It is a lot of funfor the kids and they learn a lot about the country. The other kid in the photo is kyle's friend, Baylor He is in our ward.

This picture was actually taken last June when we went to Idaho Falls for Martin's brothers sealing. I just thought it was cool how it looks like christ is patting them on the back. It's like he is saying "I am so proud of you"
I was thinking that I am so proud of my children also. They are good children and always try to choose the right. Krystal recieved her young womanhood recognition in July of 2007, Kim recieved hers in Nov 2008, and I received mine as a leader in sept 2008. Kyle has really grown this last year also as a deacon and accomplishing many merit badges. So for the year 2009 I have to say I am a proud mama of my children. I just hope and pray they will continue to be Good.

Martin's Accident

For those of you are who are not aware. Martin was in an Auto accident on I-15 back on Dec. 9th. A Union Pacific truck lost its two left tires and one of them stayed in the middle of the road. Martin came out from behind a Semi to merge into the right lane. He did not see the tire in the road possibly because he was making sure it was clear as he was changing lanes. The tire was hit at a high rate of speed which caused the air bags to go off and damage to the left side of the car. Thankfully Martin was not injured. It could have been worse we are glad that it was not. Looking at the pictures it does not look that bad but it broke the font axle in half. We are glad that he was not seriously injured.

Family Projects

We are a little behind in getting this information out to all of you. But this summer and fall we had several home improvement projects we were doing. The first one is our bathroom. We needed to replace the Tub so we had grandpa come and help us. A project that we thought would only take a few hours took two days. It was quite a project Ask grandpa when you get the chance we were quite frustrated with it by the time we finished. Anyway I thougth I had pictures of the tub before I tiled but all I could find is the finished product so I hope that will do. It was nice to see something accomplished even if it took me a month or more to finish.

The other project we did is paint the outside of our house. It needed to be done and it was a fun family project everyone pitched in and made a long project move quickly. All of these photos are attatched. It would not let me put all of the pictures in the way I wanted so I added them to the side.
